tubular to the max

I GOT MY TUBE! Actually the whole day was epic today, so I'll start at the beginning. We went on a field trip for APES today to the Harvard Museum of Natural History. We took the T into Boston/Cambridge, got coffee, went to the museum, looked at pretty animals and glass flowers, and ate. One large piece of yummy pizza later, Christie, Alex, and I went to various shops around Harvard Square. And then we headed back to Alewife. And started a massive game of Never Have I Ever. Alex "lost" and Christie "won". Yeah, it depends on your definition... Alex got 40+ and Christie got about 20. So Alex does stuff... :)
So then we got back at like 1:50. From here, I engaged in a massive failboat. Alex said that Nipunn/Marissa/others would be at the high school at the end of the day. So we searched from 1:50-2. And found no one. But apparently they were there. And then I decided to stay after before history fair and get lots and lots of community service. Unfortunately, I also told Christie to call me if she got her tube. And she did. And I ran home. Literally, ran. And I got my tube. See!

It had confetti and a poster and a coupon and lots and lots of other fun MIT goodies. And then I contented myself, called my mom and made sure she'd be home in time to take me. And she was supposed to. But apparently not...
Well in any case, we got in a mild fight, and I decided to walk. I got there by 5:44 and judged 2 individual docs and an individual performance. I can't believe I was considering doing history fair again. Thank goodness I had a moment of sanity.
So Kristine gave me a ride home and my mom swept me off to band where everyone marvelled about getting into MIT. Oh isn't life great...
And now I'm on the computer, writing a Thinkwrite, and needing to study for Chem. AND WE HAVE A HALF DAY TOMORROW!

the tube is very MITesque - as in it would be the thing they would do. (:
