Blog is dying.... but really, I know CPR!!!

So, I'm sorry. My blogging has been hampered by trips and vacations and general chilling out in places other than my house that has a computer. I suppose I will document the last week in a post.
Monday
So the plan was to head up to Goose Pond, which is our little place in New Hampshire that's been in the family for about 50 years. It's a 5 or 6 room cabin across the street from a little cove and is simply paradise. When it's 90 degrees in Boston, it's 75 degrees there which is heaven. We did some extra grocery shopping in Massachusetts and left for the pond around 3. It's a 2 and a half hour drive so we made it there by abour 5:30 and had to get beds made, people fed, and life together. Both my mom and I are still rather jetlagged, so we headed off to bed rather early.
Tuesday
Seriously, Goose Pond is the most peaceful place in the world. I woke up around 9, which is the latest I've slept in since Europe. I practiced, ran for the first time in about 8 months, and worked on reeds. A lot of reeds, but they worked so I was content. We went into the nearby town center of Canaan and got all the supplies we forgot from home and these amazing whoopie pies. I had forgotten how good cream with 2 chocolate cakes around it was. But I also realized how tremendously out of shape I am. This will be corrected in the next 7 weeks.
Wednesday
So we got up, ate pancakes and this amazing cantelope we bought a while back, I went running and practiced, and then it rained. We only got one bad shower and it was just enough that the road got filled with puddles. Now, jumping in puddles sounds really immature, I know. But really, it's pure magnificant fun. It was amazing amazing amazing. And then we put our feet in the lake, though it was warm enough to actually swim. We really should have.
Thursday
So I ran this morning and we packed up and left by noon. I practiced this afternoon and went to band with my mom that night. A rather boring day actually. I will blog again Friday night (I expect) and finish my tour posts... I promise.
