Zipadeedooda... and HANNA

Oh man, it's currently raining like there is no tomorrow. And at this rate, we will all have floated off and there will be no tomorrow. But there was a today... and it was good.
So I got up this morning at 9 and I was panicked because I was supposed to get up at 8, but apparently I wouldn't wake up (says my mother). So I quickly showered, got dressed, ate multigrain pancakes, and we were off to NEC. I had my YPO seating audition which went fairly well (though not as well as I had hoped.) It was so hard to read the adjudicator's faces... ugh, frustrating.
So then we came back home and made fabulous grilled cheese. And then we went SHOPPING! Oh man, it's the first time I've gone shopping in a very long time. And I didn't find anything, but just getting out of the house and not doing homework or cleaning or anything was awesome. Before we left, my mom made me do a rough draft of a college essay in 25 minutes (it's like college apps+SATs all rolled into one hellish 25 minutes). But other than that, life was good.
And after shopping, my dad and I went out and caught dinner. Okay, not so much. We went to Stop and Shop and got lobster. Part of the agreement of that whole cleaning fiasco 2 weeks ago was that if we did it, we would get a lobster dinner. And we did. Though I had a disfunctional lobster. It only had one claw and was missing a leg. It was a terrible loss (especially the claw). But just having lobster was more than fabulous. And then we had cake. It was great.
I worked on APES homework for a bit, practiced, blogged/talked to people, and am off to bed. And it's raining. A lot. And FIRST DAY OF REAL GBYSO TOMORROW! (aww, my last first gbyso rehearsal...)
